I am actively looking for new music. If you are a band or a label or a publicist and you'd like me to check out what you're doing, review your music or interview you, contact me HERE. I am currently submitting reviews and articles to both AMP and Glide magazines as well as FensePost.
For the sake of consistency, I use the following guide when rating albums:
10 - Classic
8 - Best of genre
6 - Good
4 - Mediocre
2 - Poor

Somehow this does not surprise me but at the same time it was very interesting.
Barbara - I wasn't surprised either, but I thought the homework they did on this was pretty interesting.
Someone put a lot of work into the little table. Really, the end result is kind of sad. It' also appalling to think that Paul McCartney could be even *more* lucrative (read: rich).

Allyson - I agree. The amount of money that entertainers make is appalling. While McCartney is more generous than many, he still has way more than anyone could ever deserve (even a Beatle), particularly when people who do real work often struggle to make ends meet. It's amazing how their wealth is really a slap in the face to fans, yet we get back in line for more.
