Myspace Posts
Myspace has a lot of faults, including horrible design, semi-porn peddling and just general stupidity from people I don't really give a crap about. However, it has proven to be a pretty good way to find some new music and keep up to date on tours, releases, etc. So, I'm going to add a feature to my blog where I review a band/artist that I found on Myspace. We'll see how it goes.

There are a lot of shitty bands on MySpace who are constantly fishing for "friends." Good luck weeding through them to find the gems.
I completely agree. I've actually found that a good way to find some goodies is to look at the friends of bands I like. That usually gets me in the ballpark and weeds some of the crap. Isn't it funny that the call them "friends?" I have 170 friends and only maybe five of them are people I know. the rest are bands. Mysapce is a goofy place.
